Le fabriquant

Creating a final product is a challenging journey that requires significant effort and coordination. It involves the dedicated work of a team of 6-7 individuals who collaborate to ensure its successful completion. From sourcing materials to manufacturing and quality control, each person plays a crucial role in bringing the product to life. Their combined efforts and expertise result in a finished product that meets our high standards of quality and craftsmanship. We value the hard work and dedication of our team, as they are instrumental in delivering the exceptional products that you see on our site.

Story Behind Our Products

At The Eastern Loom, we embrace the concept of bartering and recycling through our collaboration with Bhandewali, a dedicated utensil seller. Bhandewali come all the way to  doorstep, offering shiny steel utensils in exchange for old sarees or clothes. She collects these sarees regularly, building up a collection that she later takes to her local upholstery adda, where she exchanges them for money.

As part of our commitment to sustainability, we visit these addas and carefully select sarees that can be recycled. We bring these sarees to our production unit and determine which products can be created from them. We then assign the fabric to our talented team of artists based on their specialization.

Guided by specific instructions, our artists work diligently in their respective areas of expertise. Master Ji focuses on fabricating the products, finding innovative ways to minimize wastage. The fabric cutter carefully cuts the fabric into pieces, which are then sent for stitching. Our team of skilled tailors skillfully sews the pieces together, creating the final product.

To ensure the highest quality, our professional team conducts thorough quality checks on each product before they are ready for sale. Once an order is received, our team irons the clothes and packages them using reusable materials. The products are then handed over to our logistics team for delivery.

Through this process, we not only contribute to the recycling efforts but also support local artisans and promote sustainable practices. We take pride in offering you beautifully crafted products that are both environmentally conscious and ethically produced.
